Daily itinerary
Day 1: Rhemes de NotreIndividual arrival in Rhemes-Notre-Dame in Val di Rhemes . The village of Rhemes-Notre-Dame is a small alpine village with quaint houses made of wood and stone. Dinner and overnight stay in Spa Hotel***. Meals (D)
Day 2: The pastures of Chaussettazz (4h walking + 500 -500 m)From the tiny square of the church of Rhemes we will follow the easy forest trail into the woods. From the pastures of Chaussettazz we can admire all of the Rhemes Valley and the spectacular rock bastion of "Granta Parey". At the end of the excursion we can relax in the wellness of our Hotel. Day 3: The Col du Mont Blanc ( 5h walking + 900 - 900 m)Following the paths of summer transhumance, we pass huts and barns still in use for the production of milk, butter and "fontina" the typical cheese of Aosta Valley . The land in which we move is wild, inhabited by deer and roe deer, of which we will observe the tracks imprinted in snow. Dinner and overnight stay in Spa Hotel***. Meals (B,L,D)
Day 4: Refuge Benevolo and Granta Parey (5h walking + 600 - 600 m)Today we enter the world of the high mountains and of His Majesty, the Ibex. Following the end of the valley and the frozen river, the vegetation thins out, leaving room for the rocky walls and the "dunes" of snow . Passing a wide valley to the Refuge Benevolo at 2285 metres, we are in the realm of the ibex and chamois, who we will have the chance to see on the slopes of snow and rocks around us. Day 5: The Entrelor in the moonlight ( 2h30 walking +400 - 400 m)The first part of the day will be free. We can relax in the village of Rhemes, doing a spot of cross-country skiing in front of our Hotel or head to Aosta by public bus (1hr) to admire the artistic heritage of the city. At dusk, aided by head torches, we will hike up to the pastures that are at the base of the Entrelor, another giant rock, symbol of the valley. If the moon is shining, we will have the chance to admire the magic of the valley at night.

Day 6: DepartureAfter breakfast, individual departure. From Rhemes- Notre-Dam there are several daily connections by public bus to Aosta, Turin and Milan train Station.
